I’m a volunteer for LGFB and I agree with all bad stuff about chemicals BUT I have to say… The change in the life of this patients is incredible. Their self-steem can even cure them dispiste of harmful products. and also, they do not use these products all the time. The main thing about the program is to instruct them how to make themselves up. How to draw an eyebrow and how to put some color on their cheeks so they can feel alive! Its so wonderful to see their faces of hapiness! Even the worst product couldn’t do any bad to these patients.

I have the same concerns Janet and I think that by spreading the awareness and doing just what you did, contacting LGFB, and requesting safer alternatives, we can push the progression. Please keep spreading the word and supporting this movement! – Britta

I want to know how we can make our posts grow louder and powerful enough to change the LGFB kits from dangerous to safe. I phoned the ACS info number to ask why they give away dangerous products instead of safe ones. Answer: “There’s not enough evidence to prove any risk” and “Results of research (linking cosmetic chemicals to breast cancer) are still up for debate”
